Recently, we've been working with HR functions in various industries to help accelerate their HR transformational efforts. For example, we're working with HR leadership teams in the Energy, Insurance, and Telecomm sectors to examine their current state, clarify their future vision, and develop change plans to build a more strategic HR function.
The gOE team is visiting Frito-Lay facilities throughout North America observing their manufacturing teams in action and sharing science-based insights to further enhance their teamwork and handling of change.
gOE is working on a three-year research grant from NASA to study how to best compose and develop long-duration space flight (LDSF) teams, for example, the crew that would fly a mission to Mars. Long-duration space missions present unique challenges, including some that prior space crews have never faced.
The gOE team is beginning a research effort to help ensure that workers can safely escape from mines when problems arise. We will examine the social, physical, psychological, and cognitive aspects of self-escape tasks.
gOE was awarded a contract by the US Army Research Institute to study how to enhance team and team leader readiness.
